Garret Fitzgerald, MD - PresidentDr. Garrett Fitzgerald received his medical degree at the Stritch School of Medicine – Loyola University Chicago in 2010. He then completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Loyola University Medical Center between 2010 and 2014. He then completed a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Fitzgerald’s areas of expertise include obstetric critical care, complex surgical issues of pregnancy, prenatal diagnosis, and abnormal labor patterns. He also has an interest in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety, particularly as it impacts patients of decreased socioeconomic backgrounds. Outside of work, he can mostly be found spending time with a growing family. New to Milwaukee he has enjoyed exploring all the great features Wisconsin offers to its residents for entertainment, outdoor adventure, and sporting events. |
Anthony Rieder, MD - Vice PresidentDr. Anthony Rieder is the founder of and managing partner for Alliance ENT, established in 2006. He practices general otolaryngology with focused interests in sleep medicine, sinus disease, pediatrics, and dental-ENT collaboration. Prior to his medical education and training, Dr. Rieder was a practicing mechanical engineer involved in the nuclear power industry. He has significant experience related to process improvement, quality initiatives, and regulatory compliance. Dr. Rieder is a father of four; when he is not in the office, he enjoys riding his motorcycle and flying airplanes. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, and attending Packer games with friends and family. |
Megan Quamme, MD - TreasurerDr. Megan Quamme is a second year General Surgery resident at the Medical College of Wisconsin and Affiliated Hospitals. She has been involved in advocacy throughout medical school and residency at the local, state and national level. Previously, Dr. Quamme served on the MSMC board as a student member and At-Large Director, and is the current Chair of the Residents and Fellows Section in the Wisconsin Medical Society. Dr. Quamme is excited to continue the momentum of last year's board into the new year focusing on gun violence in Milwaukee County. |
![]() | Robert Riepenhoff, MD - Past PresidentDr. Robert L Riepenhoff is a board certified emergency physician. A native of the Milwaukee area, Dr. Riepenhoff obtained his medical degree in 2006 from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison. He completed residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago where he served as chief resident. Moving back to the Milwaukee area in 2009, Dr. Riepenhoff started his career with Infinity Healthcare and Columbia St Mary’s where he served as Medical Director of Emergency Services. He currently practices as an emergency medicine attending physician at Aurora Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Riepenhoff has served in various other leadership roles in Milwaukee, including serving on the City of Milwaukee Ambulance Service Board, and as the co-chair of the Milwaukee County Emergency Services Coordination Committee. |

Dr Zegar looks forward to making a meaningful impact for change in the community through his board service to meet the needs of our community and advocate for our patient population. |
![]() | Brenna Palman - At-Large Director (2023-2025)Breanna Palmen is the MCW Advocacy Chair for the WMS. In that role, Breanna has worked to increase student involvement and is applying to head the Urban Health Legislation Committee within the society. Over the summer, Breanna did research with the WMS surrounding advanced care planning, and is heavily involved in community outreach. She volunteers with StreetLife communities, their late night shift, Despensa de la Paz pantry, and Outreach Community Health Center. Breanna looks to bring her passion for community engagement to bring new light to the society and to help break the barriers between marginalized populations and healthcare to increase health awareness and engagement within these communities. |
Marc Drake, MD - At-Large Director (2023-2025)Dr. Marc Drake is an Otolaryngology resident at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He is interested in the creation of safe and healthy communities, particularly road and firearm safety. He has previously worked with the Milwaukee Office of Community Wellness and Safety to create targeted youth violence prevention strategies. In his free-time he enjoys reading, playing soccer, as well as cycling. |
Manohar Ahuja, MD - At-Large Director (2024-2026)Dr. Ahuja has been in Milwaukee for 27 years and is still practicing as an independent Nephrology MD with his organization. The US as a country grew on him after coming here from India via UK in 1996. Dr. Ahuja loves living in WI for what it has to offer throughout the year. He has a wide variety of interests besides practice of Medicine and enjoys interacting with people from diverse backgrounds. Community health is on the near horizon among his new learnings now and into the immediate future. Dr. Ahuja's latest hobbies are hiking in the national parks and various mountains, nationally and abroad. Self care to the point of reverse aging seems to be a real possibility lately and he very passionate about it. Dr. Ahuja is also the current president of WI chapter of Association of American Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI WI) and hope to find a common ground between MMS and AAPI for greater good of communities in Metro Milwaukee. In addition, education of friends and family as well as his patients at large for their better health and newer life styles continues to inspire him. |

Kelly Snooks, DO, MPH - At-Large Director (2024-2026)Dr. Snooks is a Pediatric Critical Care physician at Children's Wisconsin. Her career focuses on health policy and legislative advocacy, specifically on firearm injury prevention in youth. She is actively engaged in community-based efforts to address youth gun violence in the Milwaukee community. |
Daniel X. Pham, MD - At-Large Director (2025-2027)Dr. Daniel X. Pham is currently a Resident Physician in the Combined Internal Medicine and Psychiatry Program at the Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals. He has an active interests in substance use disorders, the medical comorbidity of psychiatric patients, health policy and politics, and bioethics. Outside of patient care, Dr. Pham's broad experience encompasses nonprofit leadership, organizational development, and media communications. He has has been featured in a variety of forums and outlets including the Wall Street Journal, the Oklahoma Policy Institute, and the Association of American Medical Colleges. |
Krizelle Garde, MD - At-Large Director (2025-2027)Dr. Garde moved to Wisconsin from New Jersey after completing her Internal Medicine residency in Atlantic City. In 2021, she joined Aurora Sinai Medical Center, serving Downtown Milwaukee, as a Board-Certified Internal Medicine Hospitalist and transitioned to the Nocturnist role in 2023. During residency, Dr. Garde had the opportunity to serve as the primary author of a Quality Improvement (QI) project focused on reinforcing nursing-physician collaboration to improve patient outcomes. This project was selected for oral presentation at the ACP-NJ Annual Meeting and for a QI/Research category poster presentation at the 2019 SHM conference. Additionally, Dr. Garde had the privilege of contributing as a co-author to a published case report on a rare intracranial germ cell tumor. Beyond quality improvement, Dr. Garde is passionate about promoting health literacy and adopting a biopsychosocial approach to patient care to address healthcare disparities within our community. As a mother and wife, she is deeply committed to maintaining a healthy work-life balance and strongly advocates for self-care. |
Caroline Pace, MD - At-Large Director (2025-2027)Dr. Caroline Pace is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician who has been in practice since 2010. She graduated from Temple University School of Medicine in 2006 and followed that with residency training at Yale University. Over the past few years, Dr. Pace has begun a transition to hospital administration and is now the Medical Director of Care Management at Aurora Medical Center Grafton. She still maintains clinical privileges and practices at a number of different Aurora sites in Milwaukee, Oconomowoc and Mt Pleasant. Prior to joining the Aurora Medical Group, Dr. Pace was an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Her interests and dedication to teaching and mentorship have also led her to found the Milwaukee Women Physicians Society - a group focused on fellowship, career-development, networking and advancement of the profession. |

Reggie Moore - Community MemberReggie Moore serves as the Director of Community Safety Policy and Engagement for the Comprehensive Injury Center at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He works to advance the capacity of violence prevention policy and practice in Wisconsin and throughout the country. Prior to his current role, he led the development of Milwaukee’s first comprehensive violence prevention plan known as the Blueprint for Peace. The Blueprint takes a public health approach to addressing the root causes of violence and trauma in Milwaukee and coincided with a steady 4-year decline in homicides and non-fatal shootings in Milwaukee from 2016-2019. In addition to his work in Wisconsin, he has provided technical assistance and support to communities throughout the country and has served as a subject matter expert for the Community Based Public Safety Collective, City of Cleveland, Prevention Institute, CF Leads, and Grantmakers in Health. An organizer at his core, Reggie has dedicated his life to being a champion for social change, community safety, and public health. |
